Quality Lab Technician

Location: LaVergne, TN

Job Description: 

Atlas Management is hiring Quality Lab Technician for automotive supplier in the LaVergne, TN area.  This opportunity works in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment.   This position works along side with Chemist and a team of technicians to test the quality of the products.  If you have technical experience and is interested in science/lab field, then this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities include but not limited to - Testing slab stock rubber samples on an MDR (Moving Die Rheometer), testing tire components, liquid rubber cement, soaps, textile and wire fabrics.

Job Requirements:

• 3 years of lab testing experience and/OR graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in business or a related field is required.
• Must have minimum High School Diploma
• Must be detail oriented
• At least intermediate skills in Microsoft Office - ability to move between multiple screens and programs
• Be able to read specifications and communicate (Verbal & written) results effectively from testing
• Quick learner and ability to retain information as building blocks through lab training

Salary: $16.00 per hour

Training: 5:00am - 5:00pm 

Work Schedule After Training: 5:00pm - 5:00am (Work schedule), with rotating days
