Job Description:
This position will include unclaimed property claims, review and data entry as well as customer service and answering the phones throughout the day.
Under the immediate supervision of the Manager of Unclaimed Property, Claims Section the Administrative Services Manager will have responsibilities including customer service and claim review to insure the division runs smoothly.
The Administrative Services Manager is responsible for various duties. The day to day responsibilities may change due to the need of the division. The responsibilities included in this position are:
- Claim Review — Responsible for reviewing the documentation sent by the claimant to determine if payment is proper.
- Data Entry — Responsible for various duties as the Manager of Claims assigns. Some of the most common are: Data entry as needed to approve/make payment of claims, Data entry of film numbers, and Data entry of holder reports.
- Customer Service — Responsible for communicating with the public through various media. Providing courteous, quick, and accurate information as needed. The Administrative Services Manager is responsible for requesting specific and detailed information and/or compliance information from the public. The different types of communication that may be used but not limited to: Walk-in, Phone, E-mail, Written, and Fax.
- Other Tasks — Responsible for other tasks as the Manager of Claims assigns. Some of these tasks include special projects, stock related issues, holder related issues, compliance issues, and/or other tasks needed to be completed to insure the division runs smoothly.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director or Manager of Unclaimed Property.
Job Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in business or a related field is required.
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm with 1 hour for lunch
